2.0 Assumptions About You
Every website is built with a particular kind of people in mind, and this one is not different. While creating this moms and babies blog, I made a few assumptions about who you (my reader) are:

-I assumed that you are a new mom with your very first child, or that you’re preparing to have a baby – maybe, already pregnant – or planning to conceive. Or even, that you’re not a first time mom, but still need to learn more on how to take care of your little one. Maybe, you’re a nanny or day-care worker helping other parents care for their babies;

And, that you’ve started to really think hard about what to eat or how to eat right when you are pregnant and the best way to manage pregnancy, or you’re even thinking why your baby is acting a certain way and what to do about it; or maybe you even don’t know what’s the best baby gadgets to make life easier for a working mom like you – and oh, how to find answers to so many thoughts in your head that only once-pregnant woman or mother would know.

That you haven’t had much personal experience with taking care of a small baby alone or even dealing with pregnancy – oh, the quirks… and yet you know you don’t want a stressed pregnancy or a crazy time nursing your baby.

That you want basic baby and pregnancy information – tips from the pros and other real mothers – but there’s no one close by. Besides, you don't want to be bombarded with too much but confusing information that you won’t be sure of.

The Problem
No matter how much or too little information you've got about pregnancy or baby-handling, you’re beginning to panic, wondering how much you'll have to pay the hospital to get over this troubling baby or pregnancy situation – and how you're going to afford it. And, what to even do when these troubling things happen in the middle of the night – when it’s almost impossible to get out of the house to the nearest clinic.

We Can Answer Your Baby and Pregnancy Questions
The thing is that, not every pregnancy and baby problems are hospital matters. Our mothers know that, and I'm sure you found that out already – as sometimes after rushing to the hospital, your Doctor or Nurse calms you down and tells you a really simple thing you could do at home (that makes you wonder why you didn't think of that first). And, it’s not so funny when the typical Naija nurses would laugh off your matter – and you start wishing there was someone nearby and private to ask, without looking stupid.

Sometime, you feel ashamed of going to the hospital again – in case the nurses think you brought a ‘normal’ problem.

We Are Just a Click Away - Nearer Than Your Mama
In some of such situations, you'll sit there crying alone. Wondering – should you phone your dear mother or aunt or elder sister or neighbour? Should you even beg them to come and live with you – so that you can have all the baby and pregnancy questions answered any time they happen?

Well, I pity you, especially these days that most of our mothers are far apart from us and won’t agree to come stay with us. I can't tell you whether to call your doctor or mum every single time you have a baby or pregnancy question. That decision is totally up to you. But I can give you simple tips that you could have got from your experienced mom – on how to handle and care for your baby or pregnancy and guides on buying the best-brand, long-lasting original baby/ pregnancy products that don't cost too much.

Spotting Original Baby Products on Your Own – Now Easier
Many times, you've bought over three or more different baby stuff – same thing, one after the other – because you later discovered that the first one was fake. The other one was, too. Or maybe, it didn't last long after a few weeks/ months of use. That happened, even after Mama Iyabo told you to buy the one she used.

And now, you're wondering how to know which baby equipment is best to buy next. We can tell you – for FREE, giving you a list of the best, with their good (pros) and bad (cons). From time to time, we will tell you about a list of the best brand baby products in Nigerian stores/ markets. Plus, we will tell you how to know the original from the fake, so that you never again have to waste your money unnecessarily.

We will also show you how to use the common mommy and baby equipment and gadgets – with videos in most cases.

I have a feeling that you want to know not only the traditional ways of caring for your baby or handling your pregnancy, but also want innovative ways that todays’ working women are using to make their lives easier as mothers and wives. My team and I can help you figure all that out – through our blog articles. And, in addition, make the process fun for you.
Again, welcome to moms and babies (Naija), and happy reading. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, feedback or just to say hello to us here or on Facebook, Twitter or other social media sites.
