It is an awesome moment to see pageant of this kind taking place in Nigeria, once more Nigeria sets to make history on world stage with the Mrs Nigeria Universe contest. Mrs Nigeria Universe is a beauty contest organized for married women only. Our country Nigeria is endowed with beautiful women like Agbani Darego, the winner of the Miss World 2001 pageant, this pageant was organised to appreciate all you mothers out there. Mrs Ogaga amazed the judges not only with her beauty but with her confidence, poise, and talent during the contest as she made it to the top emerging the winner of this year Mrs Nigeria Universe.

Mrs Nigeria pageant took place in Lagos at Legend Arena, Lekki and the contest for was organized by Mrs Nigeria Universe Limited, we are set to bring home the world crown as she participates as one of the finalist in the Mrs Universe pageant holding August 25th - September 3rd in Durban, South Africa. The winner of this year Mrs Universe Nigeria will represent Nigeria at the Mrs World Pageant. The Country Director for Mrs Universe, Mrs Sarah Anogwi said Mrs Universe is a world renowned Married Women 'Non Bikini' Pageant with its headquarters situated in Bulgaria and is aimed at picking beautiful and intelligent married women who are role models in the marriage institution, family, career and have made significant impact in their family and society. Africa is hosting this world event for the first time but this event is been held in different countries annually but Nigeria is participating in this contest for the very first time since 2001.

Mrs Faith Ifeoma Ogaga is 35 years of age, she hails from Aniocha North local Government in Delta state, she is a graduate of Geography from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, she has been married for over 11 years now and she is blessed with two lovely kids. Even after marriage, she never gave up her quest to becoming a beauty queen; the moment she learnt about this pageant online she applied and contested alongside other contestant s. The Top 3 finalists were Mrs Faith Ogaga emerged the crowned Mrs Universe Nigeria 2017, Mrs Vivian Onyanusi was the night's first runner-up, she is also married with 3 kids.

She encourages all the beautiful mothers out there is that you do not give up your dream. ” if you can dream it then you can achieve it but all you need do is to try, you can be a mother and still look beautiful”. Always look your best, you can work it out. I encourage Nigerian mums to enjoy this moment because beautiful things such as this don't alway come by, enjoy the moment while it last.
