3 Reasons Why Every Parent Should Buy a Baby Car Seat

As a parent, one of your topmost duties to your child is ‘constant protection’. Fulfilling that duty is easier with the help of available child safety products such as baby car seats. When correctly installed, a baby car seat can protect the life of your child in the event of an accident. Besides child safety, there are other must-know reasons why you need to buy your child a car seat. Read on to find out:

Reason #1. CHILD SAFETY
There are lots of testimonies from thousands of parents around the World, of how one or more babies came out alive after an accident. Here are some real life stories that will convince you to buy a car seat for your young one:

Real Life Story #1: We had one for my baby from 4 months old- 11 months old when we were in a car accident. A car hit us head on and then we were hit from behind by a dump truck. The car was totaled but with my baby in this seat, he came away without even a bruise or bump to show for it! I immediately decided to replace it with the same seat that protected my child so well.

Real Life Story #2: My daughter bought the Graco My Ride 65LX (Asbury) for my granddaughter last month. The baby is 10 months old and 20 pounds. She installed the car seat forward facing. Now I know that it's safer to keep them rear-facing for as long as possible, but this was my daughter's choice. Anyway, they were involved in a bad accident the other day. They were driving 70 mph (the speed limit) on the highway when they were run off the road. They were in a 2011 Nissan Versa Hatchback (a fairly small economy car). The seat was installed in the center of the rear seat. The car rolled over three times before coming to a stop on all four wheels. The baby didn't even have so much as a bump or bruise on her. She was fine. I love this car seat. I believe it saved her life.

Real Life Story #3: My daughter is a firefighter and insisted on this car seat after responding to a head on collision that killed the adults but the twins in this seat had no injuries. This seat came with the infant head support and better material on the seat cover. My daughter is extremely pleased with the changes.

Reason #2. Serves as CHILD PACIFIER
Car seats are built with special features that pacifies and comforts babies, and put them to sleep – while you’re driving, making your life easy. The car seat also plays the role of a baby swing and pacifier. If you want to put your baby to sleep, you can put your baby’s car seat to the swing mode. You can even turn on the music box for the pleasure of your baby.

Reason #3. Converts into a Baby Carrier
Pocket your money and don’t buy a baby carrier because you can set your baby’s car seat to the ‘carry mode’, which converts it to a baby
