Ingredients
Pumpkin leaves or 2 cucumber
2 Carrots
3 fresh tomatoes
1 Sweet or 2 Irish potatoes
Fresh Fish (ensure the fish is without bones please)
4 spoons of Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
Steps to Preparing the Vegetable Pure
- Wash all the vegetables thoroughly with salt
- Scrape the carrots neatly
- Peel the cucumber and remove the seeds
- Chop the vegetables into pieces
- Wash the fish and carefully remove the bones
- Put the vegetables and fish in a clean pot
- Add water a little bit above the level of the ingredients
- Leave to simmer for 15 minutes, then add the cucumber to boiling vegetables and 4 spoons of olive oil or vegetable oil and leave to steam for about 5 minutes till cucumber is soft.
- Bring it down to cool
- A hand blender or the usual kitchen blender will the final result-Blend it into a smooth puree
- Add the reserved water as necessary to achieve a smooth, thin consistency
