Cloth Diapering Essentials (The type of diapers you use determines the items you will need to purchase)

Diapers: You will need enough diapers for cloth diapering
Diaper Covers: Diaper covers provide the waterproof layer needed to keep your child's clothing dry when using cloth
Wipes: To clean your baby's bottom when changing the diaper
Liners: Creates a barrier between the waste and the cloth diaper, to ease cleaning. 
Extra Inserts: For a change in case the others are not yet dry - during rainy season

          
Diaper Rash Cream: Moisturises the baby's bottom to prevent rashes
Diaper Pail: to store dirty diapers until you are ready to do your laundry 
Detergent: For easy laundry  
Night Time Diaper Covers: Helps protect your bed from getting wet from pee overnight.
Diaper Changing Bag: To pack everything your baby needs when going out
         
OPTIONAL: 
Fasteners: Used in place of safety pins (safer)
Wet Bag: (can be used when you are away from home) 
Baking Soda: (sprinkle a little on the dirty diaper before dumping it in the diaper pail to reduce the odour) 
Vinegar: (a little can be used when washing diapers so they can remain soft).
Diaper Sprayer: Helps wash off spilled poop. Keeps you hand free from poops, making it easy for you to wash a soiled diaper.
